The Ministry of Long-Term Care (MLTC) has increased the number of Reunification Priority Access Beds for every long-term care home with long-stay beds. This means that homes will have more beds available for category 1 (crisis) applicants who are looking to move into the LTC where their spouse/partner current lives. This change will enable more couples to live together and receive the care they need.
