About the Session

This webinar explores the connection between person-directed care, citizenship, and resident wellbeing within long-term care homes.

Presenter Réanne Evans will discuss how adopting a citizenship paradigm empowers residents through autonomy, connection, and shared responsibility. In this model, residents actively influence their community, contribute to decision-making, and participate in problem solving—strengthening their sense of belonging and wellbeing.

Debra Boudreau and Ariel Rice will join the session for a live Q&A to expand on how these principles are applied at Tideview Terrace LTC Home and how staff can support residents in exercising ownership and agency in their community.
