FCO Strategic Plan Focus Group

Family Councils Ontario (FCO) is excited to engage community members in shaping our new Strategic Plan. We believe that when families come together, they create lasting change.

By supporting Family Councils across Ontario, we helps:

• Strengthen the voices of families and caregivers.
• Ensure that long-term care homes are places of compassion, dignity, and respect for all residents.

To make sure our next Strategic Plan reflects the voices that matter most, we are looking for family members, caregivers, and long-term care home staff for input. 

Led by consultant Valery Navarrete, we invite you to share your perspective in an upcoming online focus group this September.

• Family Members and Caregivers (EN): September 24, 2026, 10:00 am to 11:30 am
  
  
• Family Members and Caregivers (FR): September 29, 2026, 10:00 am to 11:30 am
  
  
• Long-Term Care Home Staff (EN): September 22, 2026, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
  
  

PLEASE NOTE:

1. Your input will not be attributed to you. Your name and email address are required to register for the session, but all input provided will be anonymized before it is used in strategic plan development.
2. When you register, you will have the opportunity to respond to a few demographic questions. These are optional. We ask for this information to help us understand who is taking part in strategic plan engagement.

A summary of what we hear in the focus groups will be shared via FCO’s newsletter. We anticipate our new Strategic Plan will be ready in early 2027.
